Ref the Preferred Option on Tourism, Culture and Leisure policy EC 2. The historic Green Lane Bridleway and the lanes of Breinton, form the basis of the only tourist cycle route that starts and finishes in the city of Hereford.
How does this policy of “conserving and enhancing the county’s unique environmental assets” and “ensuring that cycling, walking and heritage tourism is encouraged” fit with the proposal to build the western inner relief road right through the middle of this route, as well as building a bridge over the Wye valley walk through the historic landscape captured by the local artist Brian Hatton?
